Judge Death is an alien superfiend from another dimension with a simple philosophy "only the living can commit crime, therefore all life is a crime".
An arch enemy of Dredd, Death is an evil spirit who kills his victims by squeezing their heart with his ghostly grasp. He uses corpses to give him corporeal form, but when they are destroyed he reverts to a malevolent gaseous spirit.
