When Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles premiered back in 2018, it kickstarted a new line of figures from Playmates. However, declining sales of figures led to not only the end of the new figures, but the show as well. But with the new movie coming out this year, we may see more, but for now, they've been re-releasing their older figures in boxsets, and it's really something that appeals to the fans who grew up with the OG line.
Super7 has been doing something different, though. They've been taking the older figures and giving them a modern day upgrade.
