Sam, a gardener from the Shire, is Frodo's most faithful friend and trusted companion. He accompanies Frodo on his journey to the Land of Mordor to destory the One Ring in order to save Middle-earth from the clutches of Sauron, the Dark Lord.
This figure comes with a aesthetically pleasing base as well as the only back pack for Sam attached to a cape but leaves much to be desired. The likeness is not a great one to Sean Astin and the action feature means and limited articulation doesn't allow much poseability. It does come with a Pan as a unique item which Sam uses during the fight in Balin's tomb but it seems to be a gimmick based toy more suitable for younger people....[See More]
actually, a cool figure. The stand and accessories are very nice, and the sculpturing is good. It is fairly small- but then, he is a Hobbit, so it is up to scale with all the other figures. The plastic is a bit poor, just doesn't feel dende enough, and the is no knuckle articulation - but all and all, a nice figure....[See More]
he's a good figure - with a bad cape. it is blowing every which way - looks unrealistic. But the figure is still good. Would recommend gate of mordor sam over this, unless you want the pre-lothlorien hobbits, cause this is the only sam that doesn't have his lothlorien cloak....[See More]
