SKULK: A night-fighting bushwhacker, trained in the art of ambush! With TRANCULA: his vile and deadly partner-in-darkness!
Meet Skulk, the Dark Domain's multi-eyed master of terror and mayhem! Abandoned as an infant, Skulk was raised by Devora — the Dark Domain's ruling empress. Sly and stealthy, Skulk prefers to operate from the shadows with his scuttling spider Trancula — a wriggling, hairy menace-in-the-dark! Together, they pledge their allegiance to Spidrax and his Dark Domain.

A foundling left to die on the steps of God-Empress Devora's Fortress Grimhold, Skulk's life was spared on Devora's whim...when she accepted him as her son. Raised in the fawning and deceitful atmosphere of the Dark Domain's Imperial Court, Skulk cultivated the facade of a submissive and servile "toady" in order to curry favor.
Beneath this cringing exterior, however, is a talent for politics — joined with a great capacity for mean-spiritedness, hatred and spite. Skulk's true nature remains hidden until he becomes involved with some intrigue. Then Skulk revels in the death and destruction he causes. His multiple eyes give him special night vision; Skulk is well-suited for scouting and espionage missions. In fact, he disdains battle; Skulk prefers to dispatch his victims long-distance, by means of poison, or with a silently-hurled dagger.
Skulk is telebonded to his steed: the huge, multi-eyed Trancula. Brutal and sadistic, Trancula's gigantic paws grasp and crush; his jaws rip through virtually anything, as he scurries quickly over the carnage he's left behind. Without Skulk's constant prodding, Trancula is easily distracted by his enormous hunger. The longer Trancula is denied food, the meaner and angrier he becomes.
Sectaurs had oddly complex characters. Take Skulk here: the sniveling, plug-ugly toady that often accompanies cartoon villains, he's secretly well versed in political intrigue, and also an excellent scout and trapper. Take into account his Quasimodo-esque origin story, and he reads more like a modern reboot than a c-list 80s property.
Anyway, dude's roughly the same height as anyone else in the line, but with beastlier extremities and the only fully insectile face in the line. The balljoints at the hips have far better range than the shoulders, but that's how this line rolls. The swivel neck and hinged knees round things out.
Paint is great as always, with the facial features picked out neatly, and some really nice airbrushing on the limbs.
The real draw with these guys is the...[See More]
