Since his human form is nowhere near as threatening as his Violator form, the Clown relies on his weaponry to look as powerful as possible. His purpose on earth is to ensure Spawn doesn't go over to the side of good. He takes his job very seriously, vowing that Spawn will only use his powers in evil manners.
Quite the improvement sculpt-wise over the original somewhat goofy-looking Clown by McFarlane. This time around he is a nightmare-inducing mofo with guns, one of which is spring loaded & shoots a missile. As with most of the non-Spawn/Simmons figures from the Spawn line, Clown II has very limited articulation, with only his arms, waist, and neck (somewhat) being pose-able. But I don't think it really matters, because the sculpt is just so fantastic. In fact even if your not a Spawn fan, I'd suggest having this guy in your collection just because he's a great conversation piece.
