A man of both enormous size and heart, he was the mutant that men feared and other mutants revered. At once a farmer, an artist, and a gentleman, he was also a brute force in battle. Born Piotr "Peter" Rasputin in Lake Baikal, Siberia, Peter first manifested his tremendous mutant ability (he was able transform his body tissue into an organic, steel-like substance) in his adolescence. Peter later joined Professor X and the X-Men and proved to be a hero to all mutantkind.

This is a great figure because First he's huge not like in the cartoon where he's all skinny.Second His costume is dead on to the comic.Next is the paint job the way they painted the metal is just perfect.Another thing I like about the figure is his costume one because its almost like a rubber second the piece where the boot goes up to the knee is connected to the boot so he doesn't lose articulation. This figures articulation is pretty well although each individual finger does not move so theres a down fall the only finger that does move is the thumb. the way the thumb moves is kind of odd because it does not move up and down but from side to side. So far the paint on this figure has not flaked off for me yet on the top of his head a little. There is no variant to this figure it would be...[See More]

One of the ML figures a collector should definitely have, ML5 Colossus definitely brings the 2D comicbook character into 3D life. Action figure life, that is. Excellent POA, though ToyBiz could have given this some more articulation on the fingers. Excellent paint wash on the metallic parts -- makes him look harder than the paint job on the XMC Colossus which seems to lack that black wash effect. The only negative I can see is that I've been on my second ML5 Colossus, and they both seem to suffer from a loose waist swivel joint, right out of the packaging. And that the yellow paint job on the rubber-like vest seems to rub off easily. One more thing: that armpit joint (or whatever they really call it) looks weird when one raises the figure's arms up. It's like Colossus has got big...[See More]
