Black Vulture always works at night, when he's almost invisible. Once his tactical glider is released at the proper height, he manages to mantain his flight umntil he locates his target. He descends very slowly, landing silently in order to make his surprise attack. He then steals computer files valuable for espionaje, blackmail or corporate piracy, and leaves behind malicious software to mask his actions. He commits his crimes without witnesses, and if detected, he never takes prisoners.

A descendant of war criminals who excelled at using data for nefarious purposes, he tried to deny his heritage through a normal career as a football referee. But he realized it was the black uniform and position of power as the universal "villain" that truly fascinated him. Eventually he was caught cheating, after betting on the teams himself, leading to a full-fledged life of crime. His combination of athleticism and computer genius brought him swiftly to Cobra, where he leads aerial attacks by the Night Vultures.
