Lampreys are underwater demolitions specialtsts of the Cobra legions who protect and defend all of Cobra's coastal and underwater outposts, including Cobra Island. Because of their vital importance in the Cobra legions, they are hand-picked, highly trained and formidably equipped. Their rigorous training program takes place in warm, shark and pirate infested waters of tropical Islands, and the dark, frigid depths of the Arctic Circle.
