As a child, he grew up in one of the many hillside favela areas on the outskirts of his country's largest city. Rather tan try to better himself, he felt entitled to take what he wanted from everyone else. He began terrorizing more affluent neighborhoods by ringing a house's front door bell, and when the owner went to answer, he would sneak through the back and steal everything he could carry. His disrespecto to authority led to a harsh prison sentence and a permanent facial scar. Eventually, Cobra noticed his untapped rage, and they provided him with aerial attack and demolitions training in Exchange for the use of his thieving skills. He now leads the Air Devil squadron with an iron fist.

Flying Scorpion loves to soar on his glider and act as a living target. The sound of gunfire trying to hit him is like music to his ears, because when he lands he knows exactly where his adversaries are for him to destroy. He always seems to find a way behind his enemy to become a literal "back stabber."
