Carnor Jax is a former Royal Guard with pretensions to become Emperor. After the death of Palpatine, Jax became Lumiya's Sith apprentice and arranged the death of the remaining Royal Guards, with the only survivor being Kir Kanos, who evenually fought and killed Jax.
