Elves of the woodland realm of Lothlorien, the Galadhrim were a mighty people, deadly skilled in the arts of the archery and swordplay. As the war began to spread across Middle-earth, a host of Galadhrim soldiers were dispatched by the Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn to aid the besieged people of Rohan. Sent under their captain Haldir, they arrived at the Rohirrim fortress of Helm's Deep in time to aid the defense against the might of Saruman's Uruk-Hai army.
