Crimson made his televised debut on the December 30 episode of Impact Wrestling as "Little Red," the younger brother of Amazing Red. He was eventually renamed Crimson and embarked on an undefeated streak, gaining attention and dominance in the ring. He attacked Abyss and A.J. Styles, saved Kurt Angle from Immortal, and teamed up with Scott Steiner against Immortal and Fortune members.

Crimson participated in matches and pay-per-view events, including Lockdown and Sacrifice, where he faced opponents like Abyss and Samoa Joe. He entered the Bound for Glory Series to determine the number one contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and continued his undefeated streak. However, he suffered a storyline ankle injury caused by Samoa Joe, which forced him out of the tournament temporarily. After returning, Crimson defeated Samoa Joe in a match and continued his undefeated streak, ultimately facing Samoa Joe and Matt Morgan in a three-way match at Bound for Glory. He later teamed up with Morgan and won the TNA World Tag Team Championship, successfully defending it in multiple matches.

However, tensions arose between Crimson and Morgan, leading to Crimson turning on Morgan and becoming a heel. They faced each other in a steel cage match at Lockdown, which Crimson won, keeping his undefeated streak intact. Crimson's undefeated streak finally ended on June 10 at Slammiversary when he faced James Storm and was defeated in a singles match.
