Championships always seemed to elude Jason Jordan. As a three-time NCAA national qualifier at the Division I level, he always came close, but not close enough. Then he, along with Chad Gable, created American Alpha. With his partner in his corner, on April 2016 at NXT TakeOver: Dallas, Jordan finally became the champion he was destined to be. American Alpha proved that they were "ready, willing and gable" by defeating the Wyatt family for the Smackdown tag team championships.
