Mitch was given a developmental contract with the WWE after his appearance on Tough Enough. In January of 2006 he made his main roster debut as a member of the wrestling stable "the Spirit Squad". The group consisted of five new wrestlers who used the in-ring personas of male cheerleaders and feuded with Shawn Michaels and Triple H. Mitch was on the Raw roster from January until November of 2006 and then went back to the WWE's developmental territory OVW. He was released from his WWE contract on May 15, 2007
