Former footlball player Monty Brown received wrestling training from Dan Severn and Sabu. He debuted for TNA on July 3rd 2002 but then left after his August 28th match. He returned in March of 2004 referring to himself as the Alpha Male. Brown feuded with several TNA wrestlers including Abyss, Jeff Hardy, DDP and NWA World Heavy Weight Champion Jeff Jarrett. At Destination X 2005, Brown surprised everyone by aligning himself with Jarett and joining the faction Planet Jarrett. Several Months later, Brown turned his back on Jarrett and began chasing after the NWA World Heavy Weight Championship. After being unable to capture the belt, Brown realigned with Jarrett until departing the company in September of 2006.

On the January 16th 2007 edition of WWE ECW, Brown debuted under the ring name "The Alpha Male" Marquis Cor Von (spelling later changed to Marcus). In Febrary Marcus Cor Von, Matt Striker, Kevin Thorn and Elijah Burke formed a stable called the New Breed and began feuding with various ECW originals. In June of 2007 he disappeared from TV and in September it was announce that he had parted ways with the WWE. He has not wrestled again since.
