In late 1994, Tamara Sytch was signed by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). She began appearing on WWF television shows as a commentator for "Live Event News" segments. One month later, Sytch's real-life boyfriend Chris Candido also joined the WWF. The two then began appearing together as the villainous fitness fanatics known as Sunny and Skip, collectively billed as The Bodydonnas. Their team was later expanded to include a third member, Zip.

At WrestleMania XII in March 1996, Sunny was in The Bodydonnas' corner as they won the WWF Tag Team Championship by defeating The Godwinns. Later that year, Sunny was named Pro Wrestling Illustrated's Manager of the Year. She also became AOL's most downloaded woman that year, a reflection of her rising popularity and sex appeal.

Weeks after The Bodydonnas' title win, The Godwinns regained the Tag Team Championship. Sunny then turned on The Bodydonnas and aligned herself with the new champions. However, she soon betrayed The Godwinns as well, helping The Smoking Gunns capture the Tag Team Title. After The Smoking Gunns lost the belts at In Your House 10, Sunny abruptly fired them in the middle of the ring.

Sunny went on to have a brief stint as the manager for Faarooq Asaad, assisting him in his feud with Marc Mero and Sable over the Intercontinental Championship. She then transitioned to hosting duties, appearing on various WWF television shows like LiveWire and Shotgun Saturday Night. Sunny also made guest appearances on MTV's Singled Out and Entertainment Tonight, further raising her profile.

During this time, Candido had departed the WWF for Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). Sunny soon began making occasional appearances with him in the rival promotion, including at the 1997 Hardcore Heaven pay-per-view.

In 1998, Sunny briefly served as the manager for the reformed Road Warriors, known as "Legion of Doom 2000." She helped lead them to a victory in a Tag Team Championship number one contender battle royal at WrestleMania XIV. However, Sunny was released from the WWF later that year amid rumors of backstage issues, a reported addiction to painkillers, and allegations of no-showing scheduled appearances.

Sunny struggled after being release from the WWF and has since had numerous legal issues.
In 2012-2013, Sytch was arrested multiple times for offenses like disorderly conduct, burglary, and violating protective orders, serving 114 days in jail.
In 2015, she had three separate arrests for drunk driving incidents in Pennsylvania, with blood alcohol levels well over the legal limit. She pleaded guilty to these charges in 2016.
In 2018, Sytch was arrested on fugitive from justice and contempt of court charges related to DUI citations, leading to her extradition to Pennsylvania where she violated probation. She spent over a year in prison.
In 2019-2020, Sytch faced further legal troubles, including arrests for DUI and other driving offenses in New Jersey. She spent over a year in prison.
Most seriously, in 2022 Sytch was involved in a fatal car crash in Florida where her blood alcohol was 3.5 times the legal limit. She was charged with DUI manslaughter and sentenced in 2023 to 17.5 years in prison.
