Tickers are the Locust equivalent of an intelligent mobile land mine. Named for the sound their teeth make as they prepare to self combust. They are a fusion of subterranean creature and incendiary device. Tickers rely on their quickness to scurry away to a safe location when threatened. Only to reappear from another angle and explode next to their victim.
