Description:
James "Wild Bill" Hickock was a soldier for the Union army during the Civil War. He late served as a scout in the 7th Cavalry under Colonel George Armstrong Custer. Hickock was also a U.S. marshall in the cities of Hays and Abilene, Kansas. IN 1876, he traveled to the Dakota territory in search of Black Hills gold. Later that year, "Wild Bill" was shot dead while playing cards in a saloon in Deadwood, South Dakota.
