I think for the time he came out, this is a PERFECT Yoda. I love the character and I would have been a happy child in the 80s if I had him. He has 5 POA which is not an issue for a figure of his stature as it compliments him, he has nice detail, is instantly recognisable, has a soft goods robe and a belt with details like the illuminator, he gets from Luke's supplies, painted with a nice Silver, his walking stick which he holds well meaning it's hard to lose and of course the snake which is a nice touch. Yoda's right hand is sculpted in a way that looks like he is using the force to lift Luke's X-Wing out of the Dagobah Swamp. A really nicely detailed figure with really impressive sculpting on his legs and waist with the utility belt showing the Lightsaber and holster and the light brown or tan hair suits Luke more realistically than the cartoon like yellow hair in my opinion. I believe they dropped this colour with Jedi as he seems to only have light brown hair in the ROTJ line. What let's this figure down is not the yellow Lightsaber(which yes we know Luke had a blue one and they continued their mistake from the original STAR WARS figure of Luke, most likely due to the concept art of Luke with a Yellow saber or a desire to differentiate Luke from Obi-Wan perhaps?), the issue is the hands. Darth Vader

This first figure of the Dark Lord of the Sith was used throughout Kenner's Star Wars line and it's nostalgia factor might influence a lot of collector's opinions and some might think a modern fan (such as myself who grew up in the late 90s) would not be a fan of this model but in fact I think it's a perfect start to a promising future and decent first attempt that was perfect for the era he was released in. I believe the choice of giving him a trench coat instead of a cloak or cape was a stylistic choice based on the robe Vader wears over his chest guard instead of under as he does in other films, so one could treat this as his robe and then add a cloak over, but it still looks great as it is. Bane was such an imposing force in this game. I felt he was a let down in Asylum having a short basic brute battle with him that didn’t really amount to anything that fun or challenging and lacked Bane’s skill as an intellectual strategist. This Bane beats you down so that you can’t afford to not completely focus your attention on this guy and discovers your identity and almost kills Alfred leading to a rivalry I wanted to see. I was excited to get the figure of him and he’s pretty great. There’s lots of detail and good enough articulation though possibly a bit more would have been welcome for posing he’s bigger than Batman, can hold him as if he were to break the Bat and his venom tubes can be removed adding to the way Batman defeats him. Hands down the most irritating action figure I have ever owned. I really enjoyed Firefly in this game and the boss battle was so intense but this figure is so easily broken. D.C. direct have this weird obsession with using a clear plastic joint system for whatever reason and the plastic used breaks so easily. I’ve had an arm snap off and both legs so massive surgery was needed and even now I feel disappointed with the result. It’s become one of the rarer more expensive Arkham figures and sure it looks good but if you’re one to remove figures from packaging to pose or display them just be so careful with this one because it breaks so easily and that alone ruins the figures rating. Does it get any better than Deathstroke? Well it’s a near perfect figure. It’s super articulated, as he should be, has his handgun, staff and sword and the paint job is marvellous. One could see an issue in perhaps an inability to grasp a sword in two hands and the multiverse figures sword is possibly more accurate sword hilt wise (which is why I personally combined the two) but overall he’s just a really well done rendition of the characters who is fun to pose. He was a big part of the trailer and has a memorable fight that pushes Batman, though it’s a shame there wasn’t more than one and the buildup in Knight leads to ultimately a disappointment with just another tank fight no personal face to face duel. A spot on figure with decent enough articulation, articulated pauldrons and his sword included. It’s always nice on the rare occasion that these earlier Arkham Game figures get this treatment but obviously it’s not perfect with basic leg movement, but other than that a really well down figure. Personally mine had some bad eye painting so had to redo that to make him not reverse crosseyed and the hair detailing in colour needed some work but besides that I really like this figure and highly reccomend this awesome rendition of Ra’s al Ghul...[See More]

Brotherhood is when the figures showed a marked improvement, they had more articulation, more defined less sloppy detail and hidden blades that work really well. This ain’t my favourite of the Brotherhood figures, in fact the whole Brotherhood aesthetic for the assassins especially Ezio’s new uniform didn’t really capture he same strength of the previous basic assassin robe he wore in 2 and the armour of Altair that he wore, though in thankful the game explains why he doesn’t then just wear it in he next game, though it’s a shame I love the look and made and posted a custom of it on this site for that reason. In some ways a step forward others a step back from the original entry to the AC series Altair. The renaissance attired Ezio certainly has less cumbersome robes in the way but suffers from stiffer legs meaning less possibility than before. The articulation isn’t any worse but hasn’t improved and some of it is hindered due to larger sleeves on the arms for example. He looks the part, though the ACII hidden blades designed for the new line are terribly made being softer plastic that doesn’t work well. One major issue I have is the lack of any accessories. There were so many weapons in the new game and a basic sword would have been nice. Instead we get two flimsy open hands that look alien and because they are open they can’t hokd anything. I remember when this game and subsequently this figure came out. I’m not entirely sure how many but I’ve come across 2 variants, whether it’s just updates on the original figure or another company reproducing there are 2 with some differences, so do your research if you’re buying one. The first figure I got was possibly the original model or a cheaper version as his weapons were shinier but thinner in the blade parts. The colour palette was also different this one having a darker dirtier tunic with sandier looking arms, whereas the other version which is either the update or official had white white robes like in the game but purple tinted arms (needless to say I swapped mine) and the hidden blade was shorter and I preferred the shinier one so also swapped those.
