Necromorph Slasher (Dead Space 2) Review
Necromorph Slasher
Dead Space 2 (Neca)One of the most common enemies in the Dead Space game series is the Slasher type Necromorph and its variants. This one represents the basic version with the long blades coming out of its wrists and the extra arms coming from its stomach. The figure seems slightly small as the ones in the game tend to be taller than Isaac with longer limbs. The figure features a version of a slasher that is missing its lower jaw. Detail is pretty good for a figure this scale but it could have been way better. Articulation is really good for a NECA figure and shows that they've decided to stop making statue-like figures. The figure also features an interesting and mildly amusing ability for you to remove the limbs from the figure to replicate dismembering it like in the game. The paint job seems kind of harsh but overall it is a good try and you do see details that you don't see in the game such as the back of the creatures. For the price I would have liked to have seen more in the figure, perhaps a smaller secondary figure such as a crawler or such. Overall I give it a 3.5 out of 5.
