Legolas (Dagger-Slashing, Arrow Launching) (Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring) Review
Legolas (Dagger-Slashing, Arrow Launching)
Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring (Toy Biz)Legolas’ first figure isn’t terrible but still has issues. This isn’t my least favourite Legolas figure, that one goes to the throwing dagger figure, but the issues this figure faces are the scale being too big, the articulation being very limited and the hands not actually being able to hold a dagger well. His action feature works by squeezing his legs making him slash or remove a dagger from its sheath if you can get it to. His bow is strung so you can fire it, which just makes me irritated at Hasbro for doing plastic where there should be string and bridge direct just giving us bows without string at all! It’s an important feature that boss actually 1 look the part and 2 work. So again with Strider I do like this one nostalgically but it is flawed and often re used in packs when it’s past the fellowship of the ring so he then gets the wrong bow quiver and arrows a lot like in the black gate set. Not a bad first figure and the likeness is decent but better figures were to come later on.
