Write a Review link for that item. Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring (Toy Biz)Oh plastic/ vinyl robes you break my heart. This figure of the dreaded Witch King of Angmar is our first figure of the character and is fairly decent, but I’m not a huge fan of it. This figure is packaged with a plastic bubble in his hood to keep it from getting warped but most of them always do and the oversized robes to make him bigger than the rest of the ringwraiths make him bulky and look fat instead of imposing whilst his legs are tiny and look ridiculous. I’ve swapped out my figures with the second rendition of the witch king in armours legs. The sword is fine and detailed well but his action feature ruins a lot of the figures articulation and ability to pose. He has a button on the back which when pressed his arm stabs, which when combined with his ridiculous dagger which features a retractable blade part on a spring, is meant to stab Frodo. The morgul blade therefore looks like an oversized sheath instead of a blade and would have been better if they just made the real thing. Credit where credit is due this is an earlier figure and does fit in nicely it just has issues that weren’t reused for the Morgul Wifch King figure thankfully, but as it stands this figure is a reasonable first attempt just not my personal favourite classic line figure.   by Deaditor |
