Write a Review link for that item. Lord of the Rings - Fellowship of the Ring (Toy Biz)Sauron, the dark lord of Morder, leader of masses of Orcs, Trolls and many other nasty things. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting one of these figures to be made. He was only featured in his physical form in the first movie for maybe five minutes. Of course, in that time he caused hell. The dark lord stands 10 inches tall and comes with several cool things. First off, he comes with his awesome mace, the one he used to blow groups of warriors away with one swing. It’s basically a replica of the movie one except mine is a bit bent. He also comes with a small pouch holding a few rings. Apparently Toybiz was thinking and each figure comes with about 5 small rings incase one gets lost. The right hand also has a cool feature. Right where the fingers meet knuckle they come out. Like in the movie all the finger pop out but instead of falling all over the place the come out as once piece, more good thinking as they are big enough as one piece so its hard to lose them. On the finger piece, the index finger is made at more of a pointing/almost clenched fist, this gives us the ability to put on the rings onto the stump and attach it back onto the hand. The ring doesn’t create obstruction to the hand and doesn’t block the way the hand fits. The fingers also always fit snugly and tightly with or without the ring. Sauron also comes with a real fabric cape. which is attached by two stretchy "rope" loops that go up each arm and stay at the elbows(neither loop effects movement) Sauron's paintjob is cool two. Like in the movie, he is in his war armor which is an all silver color. Spikes jut out from both shoulders and another set runs down each legs. The mace is also a silver color while the rings are gold. The cloth cape is obviously black. Like Treebeard, articulation comes pretty good for this big guy. He’s got movement at neck, shoulders, elbows, thighs, knees and feet. An awesome figure that fits in with just about anything due to his armor. Like the other Lord of the Rings figures he is well made and well detailed.  by Mr-X |
