Weilding the powerful artifact, the Cosmic Control Rod on his crest, Annihilus is the Living Death that Walks! Talks pretty big for a relitivly puny Build a Figure, doesn't he? It took me quite some time to complete this bugger, having to order the Hercules over the interwebs to get the last peice, but it payed off! The first Build a Figure from Hasbro is smaller than those previously produced, but still in scale with the rest of the line. Each of his fingers, with the exception of his thumb, has individual articulation. Annihilus' hands can move back and forth at his wrists. His elbows are double-hinge joints with a cool little spike coming of the elbow itself. Unsuprisingly he has bicep movement and his shoulders are basic joints. His wings are not something special, just basic ball and socket joints. His head can move left and right, but will pop off with not a lot of force. His torse has a hinge joint and can lean back a good distance, the same when moving it foreward. The legs are well articulated, moving at the top, knees and feet. The sculpt is excellent, looking like Annihilus from either the 80's or 90's, not sure of the artist. Tiny bumps and veins dot his rigide exo-skeletal armor. A running change in the BaF parts were the highlights on his armor, so some figures will have mixed and matched pieces of pink and purple. Over all, Annihilus gets four and a half stars out of five!   by Collector1 |
