Need help IDing a Marvel figure

All I have is a description from a friend that saw it in a bulk toy bin with no package. She was going to buy it, but someone picked it up before she could come back. She says she's certain it said Marvel on the foot, but doesn't remember if there was a brand and/or date.

The character had brown hair, a pony tail and bangs, cheerleader outfit, nearly no articulation, and she thinks a letter R on the outfit. It also came with a larger male figure wearing a baseball cap and had huge feet.

I'm not 100% sure if it's an older figure, but she said that it looked like it probably was. Sorry for vagueness, but that's all I've got. ):
